TR7 Service due
« on: April 01, 2016, 07:32:10 AM »

I remember a post from you recently about your Spider passing 60k miles.

As my TR7 is soon to pass this mileage, I wonder if you can help me as I'm

having trouble getting a reply from my local Triumph dealer when I try to

schedule the required 60k service. They seem to have a problem with their

phone line, I can only assume they are so busy with customer calls.

As I appear to have misplaced the service log for my TR7, I'm not sure what is

covered; I'm assuming this car came with the industry norm of 100k coverage so

I'm eager to find a local dealer who will honor this. I'm presuming this

service will be just 1-2 hours to change oil/filter & adjust/lube other items?

My car is my daily driver so I will want to get the service done expeditiously

& I hope that Triumph offers a free loaner vehicle program.

How was your experience with your car? Perhaps you can post to the group on

what I can expect. No doubt there will be others reaching this or other

service intervals who can benefit.

I dropped my TR8 off at the dealer in 2009 for routine service and I'm still waiting for them to call to pick it up.  I think they might be waiting for parts from the factory.
