Left Hand Upper Strut Mount

Dear Listers:

I am presently replacing the rear struts on my '79 TR7.  I've been working

on the left hand side first.  The lower mount was easy to unbolt.  My

question:  does one access the upper mount on the left side from the

passengers compartment?  I can't see it from the boot.  Am I missing

something here?

Thanks for any help,

Matt Milkevitch

Do you meat the shocks?  If it's a convertible, you need to pull back the carpeting on the shelf behind the seats and you will see two domed covers.  Remove those to get at the top shock mount.
