That really sucks, Gary. I second all that has been said so far. Get all the water out and get everything dry including ALL electricals before, trying to run it.
BTW, there may be another very serious concern about flooding in Lynchburg, VA. When IB  worked for Babcock & Wilcox 40+ years ago, we had a plutonium plant in Lynchburg. Not sure if it's still there. Plutonium is very deadly stuff in very small quantities & it starts out as a powder-like substance. If any of it gets loose
