How can I test the coils internal resistance? B I have the coil that came out
of the car sitting here.

It is black with no manufacturer name on it. Just this:

12V

USE WITH

ELECTRONIC IGNITION

901

Thatbs it.B  No other markings, data or information.

If I could test the resistance, then I would at least know what came out that
was, at one point, working.

depends on the coil's internal resistance and the electronic ignition you
have, they all seem to want something ever so slightly different and a coil
that works well with one might not work well with another (Crane vs
123ignition for example).

I can send you a spare stock coil I have in my stash but youbre not running
stock anymore right? I also donbt think itbs the coil though.

David did send me an e-mail and the coil I purchased and installed was a Lucas
